Let me begin, many people seemed to enjoy this book, maybe I missed something but I most certainly did not like this book, so much that while I painfully tried to get through it I finally gave up trying to finish it. Nora Fulbright is supposed to be smart but I never saw it, she continued to dig herself deeper and deeper into a hole frankly I don't think she deserved to get out of.

She would stop at nothing for a guy and to be popular. She had no thought to what she was doing and the possible Let me begin, many people seemed to enjoy this book, maybe I missed something but I most certainly did not like this book, so much that while I painfully tried to get through it I finally gave up trying to finish it.

The constant dumb choices she made drove me insane, she was beyond fake, after changing who she was to try and be "little miss popular". Nora was a VERY unlikeable character in choices and wannabe attitude.

After a kind of slow start, this book had me hooked. I had a rough start getting into the book just because all I could think about was "Why does Nora think she has to act like this for Adam to like her?!?! Once I got past that initial bump in the road, the book was really good and I was entirely hooked. I love how Adam is super smart and attractive. He is absolutely fantastic! I always looked forward to After a kind of slow start, this book had me hooked. I always looked forward to any scene with Adam in it. By the end of the book, I was a huge fan on Nora, but throughout the rest of it, I was not so much.

The story was well written but I don't like the emphasized cheerleaders are dumb stereotype. The ending was cute which is what I like.

The story proves that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover and that it works both ways with Nora and with Adam. The ending was what I hoped it would be and didn't seem too drawn out since the obstacles were those that most could encounter in real life.

When I started reading this I thought it was a little too narcissistic for my taste, after all I had had enough of dumb teenage girls making shitty decisions like I would have had if I had had the chance; so a part of me wasn't sure if I'd eventually give in and find some redeemable feature until I found myself laughing about all the connections and fixed situations Nora had to handle to get Adam to notice she wasn't the stupid girl she tried so hard the rest of the world THIS WAS SO SO GOOD.

When I started reading this I thought it was a little too narcissistic for my taste, after all I had had enough of dumb teenage girls making shitty decisions like I would have had if I had had the chance; so a part of me wasn't sure if I'd eventually give in and find some redeemable feature until I found myself laughing about all the connections and fixed situations Nora had to handle to get Adam to notice she wasn't the stupid girl she tried so hard the rest of the world think she was before. All those moments of awkwardness and unexpected surprises got me gaging my ass off like there was no tomorrow.

Besides I felt attached to the whole "Joshie is too adorable to even" instants like when he wears his little cowboy pajamas and wants to show everyone his insect collection in his tiny sock, God! In the end this became a great story of self acceptance when Nora dealt with her scrambled choices thanks to Joshie's advice of asking for forgiveness like a decent human being, and after talking with her dad.
